Dr Stephanie Shim is a compassionate General Practitioner who completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2021. She has gained valuable experience working across a range of hospital specialties, including Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and General Medicine, providing her with a strong clinical foundation in the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic health conditions.
Dr Shim enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care in a welcoming and supportive environment. She values continuity of care and enjoys building long-term relationships with individuals and families, working collaboratively to help patients achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
She has a particular interest in women’s health and child health and has completed the Family Planning NSW National Certificate for Sexual and Reproductive Health. Dr Shim provides a range of women’s health services, including Implanon® insertions and removals, IUD removals, menopause hormonal therapy, and iron infusions. She is passionate about preventative health, patient education, and supporting patients through every stage of life with personalised and holistic healthcare.
Outside of work, Dr Shim enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for jogs, and occasionally rock climbing.
