How We Can Help

Prevention is one of the most valuable things a GP can offer. Regular check-ups and early advice help reduce your risk of chronic disease, whatever your age or health history.

We provide lifestyle support tailored to you, including quitting smoking, healthy eating and drinking, weight loss, stress management, sleep and exercise. We also offer Medicare-funded health assessments: the 45–49 health assessment for people at risk of developing chronic disease, and the annual over-75 health assessment, a thorough review of your lifestyle, medications, mobility and home safety.

What to expect

  • Book a health check

Book a standard appointment online or call 02 8209 3999. Mention if you’d like a 45–49 or over-75 health assessment.

  • Review your health and risks

Your GP will discuss your history, lifestyle and family background to identify any risk factors.

  • Checks and tests

Your GP may check blood pressure, weight and cholesterol, and arrange tests or screening as appropriate.

  • Your prevention plan

You’ll receive personalised advice and goals, with referrals and follow-up as needed.
